St. Michael will be participating in a Diocese of Saginaw survey!
St. Michael will be participating in a diocese wide survey about discipleship conducted by the Catholic Leadership Institute! We need your help!
Please help us by participating in a 10-15 minute survey online. The survey can be accessed through an online link from February 17th – March 23rd and will ask you to reflect on your own spiritual growth and enable you to provide feedback on our parish’s efforts to help you grow. All responses will be confidential and the parish will only receive information about the community as whole.
If you prefer a paper copy you may pick up a paper copy of the survey after weekend Masses. They will be located in the Narthex. To submit the completed paper survey, please drop in the collection baskets at the entrances or to the parish office prior to March 15th.
St. Michael will resume public Masses this weekend with the 5:00 pm Saturday Vigil Mass and the 8:30 am Sunday Mass. Previously shared Covid-19 guidelines shall be adhered to. The Sunday obligation has been dispensed though August 30, 2020. Those not feeling well or in the vulnerable population should not attend. The church will be sanitized after every liturgy to ensure the safety of those attending.
A 9 am Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated on Monday at St. Michael. Traditionally this Mass is celebrated in the cemetery, however due to recent rains, conditions are unfavorable, so Mass will be in church. Previously shared Covid-19 guidelines shall be adhered to.
The Diocese of Saginaw may resume public Sunday Masses the weekend of May 30th and 31st and weekday Masses Monday May 25. We will be able to accommodate 25% of the church capacity, people will have to use social distancing guidelines and every other pew will be blocked off. Attendees are free to wear masks, the sign of peace will continue to be omitted, communion will be under one form, and collection envelopes will be dropped in baskets near the entrances inside the church. The church will be sanitized after every liturgy. More information will follow. Visit Saginaw.org to view the press release.
